Rates & Insurance
Rates:
Individual Therapy Sessions: 50-minutes, $150
Couples Therapy Sessions: 90-minutes, $200
Family Therapy Sessions: 50-minutes, $150 - or - 90-minutes, $200
Payment: Payment is due at the end of each session. I accept cash, check, all major credit cards, FSA/HSA cards as forms of payment. I use a HIPAA-compliant payment platform that is designed specifically for therapists to ensure privacy and safety of your personal information.
Insurance: Though I don’t take insurance, you may be eligible to use out-of-network insurance benefits. I work with Mentaya- a company that can get you reimbursed 50-80% for therapy using “out of network benefits”. If you qualify, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim.
To see if you qualify, you can use the Mentaya out-of-network benefits checker here:
Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.
Cancelation: If you are unable to attend our scheduled session, please make sure to cancel or reschedule 24 hours beforehand. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full rate.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
